Mr. Theodore contacted Green Attic Insulation for a thorough attic insulation removal, disinfection, air sealing, and new insulation installation project. The project included a series of meticulous steps to ensure the attic was properly insulated and ventilated, addressing any underlying issues that could affect performance and air quality.

Services Provided

1. Loose Fill & Batt Insulation Removal

• Removed 2100 square feet of old loose fill and batt insulation to prepare the attic for new insulation.

2. Disinfection

• Disinfect 2100 square feet of the attic space to eliminate any potential mold, bacteria, or allergens, ensuring a healthier environment.

3. Air Seal Attic Floor

• Sealed 2100 square feet of the attic floor to prevent air leaks, enhancing the overall energy efficiency of the home.

4. Installation of Baffles

• Installed baffles in 2100 square feet of attic space to maintain proper ventilation and prevent insulation from blocking airflow.

5. Attic Insulation R-60

• Installed 1520 square feet of new insulation to an R-60 standard, significantly improving thermal resistance and energy efficiency.

6. Attic Hatch

7. Bathroom Exhaust Fans

• Installed two bathroom exhaust fans through the roof to improve ventilation and moisture control in the bathrooms.

8. Attic Solar Fan

• Installed one solar-powered attic fan to enhance ventilation and reduce heat buildup in the attic.

9. Vaulted Ceilings

• Insulated 580 square feet of vaulted ceilings to ensure consistent temperature regulation throughout the home.

10. Transition Walls

• Insulated 200 square feet of transition walls to further improve energy efficiency and comfort.

Upon completion, Mr. Theodore's attic was transformed into a well-insulated, clean, and energy-efficient space. The R-60 insulation, combined with proper air sealing and ventilation, significantly enhanced the home's thermal performance.
